Are you really Marines?
Yes, Two Marines Moving is Marine owned and operated. We hire motivated active-duty, reservists, national guardsmen, and civilians to ensure your move is a smooth one. Our customers choose Two Marines Moving over the competition because of the quality of our workforce. Rather than having movers with a possible criminal record, you get ethical/ hard-working vets. Approximately 60% of our staff are Marines, 25% are Army, 5% are Navy, 5% are Air-Force, and 5% are civilian.

What happens if in case of inclement weather?
Our Marines operate in rain, snow, sleet, or shine. The only reason that we would not be able to complete your move, is if the snow/sleet has reach a point of accumulation that the trucks are inoperable. What forms of payment do you accept? We accept cash, check, or any major credit card (VISA, MASTERCARD, AMEX, & Discover)

How much should I tip my movers?
Tips are very much appreciated for exceptional service. A typical crew is tipped an average of $20-$50 per move. Some of our most generous tippers really make a Marine's day by tipping even more in appreciation for their hard work/ military service.

Would it be less expensive to get my own truck?
The answer is usually, NO. Once you add in all of the cost associated with a truck rental, it saves you money and time by using one of our trucks.

What size trucks do you use on a move?
We have a variety of trucks available from 17' trucks to 26' Trucks. Below is truck size breakdown for a typical local move. If you have an unusually high amount of volume for a residence of your size, please let us know so we can adjust accordingly.

Are you Insured?
Yes, we have cargo, general liability, worker's compensation, and vehicle insurance.

What is your policy on damaged items?
The first thing to remember is that your #1 insurance decision has been made simply by choosing Two Marines Moving. Our movers are professionally trained on proper packing and loading procedures. Only 3% of our moves result in a claim compared to 20% for our competition. However, if a claim is required it will be handled quickly. We offer the federally required $0.60 per pound compensation, with the option of purchasing a higher valuation.

Do you screen your movers?
Yes, all of our employees are screened based on their ( lack of) a criminal background and driving record. Only 1 out of 50 applicants at our company become a Two Marines Moving Load Master. Rest assured, your household/ business goods are safe with our hands. Who better to guard your belongings than a U.S. Marine?

Does Two Marines Moving charge a booking fee?
Yes, Two Marines Moving charges a $100 booking fee on every move. The $100 will be deducted from your move upon the completion of your job. There is no penalty to reschedule for another date/time. However, it is non-refundable if you decide to completely cancel. Note: Weekends and the end of the month book up fast, so we ask for your patience and flexibility in rescheduling during that time period.
