We offer steady and consistent work for our veterans that demonstrate professionalism by showcasing the traits of punctuality, hustle, respect, dependability, integrity, enthusiasm, and bearing. Employees categorized as full-time typically work between 32-60 hours per week. Overtime pay (1.5 times the hourly pay wage) is authorized after 40 hours per week. In the last 4 years TMM has NEVER laid off a single employee. While not a guarantee of future performance, this last fact speaks volumes about how hard we work to keep all of our quality employees with consistent hours.

We offer steady and consistent work for our veterans that demonstrate professionalism by showcasing the traits of punctuality, hustle, respect, dependability, integrity, enthusiasm, and bearing. Employees categorized as part-time typically work between 8-31 hours per week. A large majority of our part time employees are students using their G.I. Bill to further their education. We work around our students’ schedules! For example, if you have classes on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday……..then we will schedule your workdays to be Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday. Another portion of our part-time staff is comprised of active duty military or veterans with full-time jobs working on the weekends. They use the extra income earned at Two Marines Moving for their “going out money,” savings for a special purchase (motorcycle anyone?), funding a down payment for a house, or to supplement income for an addition to the family.

Law enforcement, fire departments, federal agencies, and federal contractors naturally hire a large percentage of veterans. Unfortunately, academies are held only a couple of times a year and clearances take time to authenticate. Fortunately, Two Marines Moving hires veterans on a temporary full-time and part-time basis. While you’re waiting for the academy to start or hear back from that federal contractor, we’re here to be your safety net. You can earn a steady pay and keep your resume current while you await your next step in life.
In addition, we have many veterans that just graduated with their Bachelor’s or Master’s degree. It’s a tight job market out there! We know from the outset that our veterans with a higher education aren’t going to work here as a mover for several years. We can provide you a solution that helps make ends meet until you find a job in your desired field. In addition, we promote internally to jobs we prefer have a form of higher education, including the dispatcher and moving consultant positions.
Two Marines Moving has immediate openings for entry level Crew-Member positions. Our weekend only positions are comprised of two categories: A) Active Duty Personnel B) Vets with F/T jobs at other companies. You can earn up to an extra $6000 a year simply working one day a week. We expect our weekend warriors to work a minimum of 4 days a month. You pick the days, either Saturday or Sunday. This position is great for those who want to supplement their income for daily living expenses, special purchases, and/or savings.
