Two Marines Moving

An Important Message from Nick Baucom,
President and CEO of Two Marines Moving

As our country and the world continue to watch and be impacted by the COVID-19 (Coronavirus) pandemic, we want to share how Two Marines Moving  is responding. At the heart of every move are people: customers, crew members, vendors and employees. While the health and safety of all of those involved are always our highest priorities, they are especially important during this time.

Our Commitment to You

We are committed to moving you safely. In these unprecedented times, we take our role as essential service providers very seriously. We will continue to provide services to our communities as we follow recommendations from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the World Health Organization (WHO) in order to protect our customers and front-line employees.

Limiting in-person contact is a best practice when mitigating the spread of COVID-19. While our business requires us to enter the residence to provide packing and loading services, we can conduct the quote process via virtual survey. We have mandated virtual surveys for all of our clients, and are encouraging this practice in all states.

As in most companies throughout the country, Two Marines Moving has implemented its business continuity plan.

Specific Response Actions

In implementing our business continuity plan, we:

  • Are mandating each employee wash their hands upon entering our facility.
  • Bring work clothes in a separate bag and change upon entering our facility.
  • Constantly wash hands throughout the day using soap provided to each crew.
  • Are mandating that upon return to the office, crews must again wash their hands.
  • Are providing employee access to on site shower facilities at the Two Marines Moving office at the start and completion of scheduled shifts.
  • Are mandating employees change into a different set of clothing so they do not contaminate their cars and homes.
  • Assembled a Task Force at Two Marines Moving Home Office to focus on operations and communication during this unprecedented time. The team stays up to date with the ever-changing situation and is in contact with each other daily.
  • Monitor guidance issued by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC)and World Health Organization (WHO), providing the latest links on our public and internal websites.
  • Practice the CDC issued guidance for Business and Employers.
  • Develop, update, and publish FAQs for agents and van operators repeatedly as new information is available.
  • Communicate with employees and clients through email, urgent communications, intranet and phone conversations. In a time like this, there’s no such thing as too much information or too much communication.

Providing Essential Services

Two Marines Moving understands providing transportation services to clients and customers is an essential service. We are open for business, and are working closely with our employees and clients to continue to conduct business safely. We realize in these uncertain times there can be angst and concern. As we remain compliant with all government restrictions on businesses, we are committed to doing our best to provide the services to load, transport, and deliver household goods or commercial products our customers need.

Thank you and we wish everyone the best during this difficult time – stay safe and well.
