Two Marines Moving Is Hiring Team Leaders

Mission First. Team Always.

From the Founder

Nicholas Edmond Baucom — Founder & Commander, Two Marines Moving

Two Marines Moving is growing, and we are actively hiring Team Leaders.

These are the front-line leaders who make or break the client experience on move day.

Let's be clear from the start:

Not just a driving billet.

Not just a moving billet.

Certainly not a driver position with a leadership title attached.

This is a leadership billet, a driving billet, and a moving billet.

Most importantly, it is a lead-from-the-front billet.

If you take pride in standards, accountability, professionalism, and leading by example, keep reading.

The Role: Team Leader

As a Team Leader at Two Marines Moving, you occupy one of the most important billets in the company. You are responsible for:

Driving and operating company vehicles safely and professionally

Leading your crew through complex, real-world moves

Protecting the client's home and belongings

Maintaining discipline, pace, and professionalism

Making decisions under pressure

Training and developing Moving Specialists

Representing the company in front of the client

Owning mission outcomes

The Team Leader sets the tone.

The Team Leader sets the pace.

The Team Leader enforces the standard.

The Team Leader owns the outcome.

Success or failure ultimately stops with the Team Leader.

The Backbone of Two Marines Moving

In the Marine Corps and Army, Corporals and Sergeants are often referred to as the backbone of the organization. Why?

They translate intent into execution.

They train people.

They enforce standards.

They solve problems.

They turn plans into results.

At Two Marines Moving, Team Leaders and Crew Chiefs serve a similar role.

They are the backbone of our field operations. They carry responsibility for leadership, accountability, execution, and mission accomplishment. That responsibility matters. And we treat it accordingly.

A True Lead-From-the-Front Position

At Two Marines Moving, leaders do not stand on the sidelines. Team Leaders are expected to:

Drive the truck

Move furniture

Lead the crew

Solve problems

Communicate with clients

Make decisions

Maintain standards

Leadership happens:

In the truck

In the driveway

On the stairs

Inside the home

In front of the client

You are not supervising from a distance. You are carrying the mission alongside your team. That distinction matters.

What Mission First. Team Always. Means

We operate under a simple doctrine: Mission First. Team Always.

Mission First means:

The move is completed safely

The move is completed professionally

The move is completed efficiently

The client's belongings are protected

Standards are maintained

Team Always means:

You train your people

You develop your people

You set them up for success

You hold standards fairly and consistently

You take care of the team without lowering expectations

High standards and troop welfare are not opposites. The best leaders understand both.

What You'll Be Responsible For

Team Leaders are responsible for:

Leading and coordinating crews

Driving company vehicles

Managing move-day execution

Maintaining safety standards

Protecting client property

Communicating professionally with clients

Managing pace and morale

Adapting when plans change

Completing required accountability procedures

Ensuring the mission is completed to standard

This is real leadership.

Not babysitting. Not monitoring. Leadership.

Who Thrives In This Role?

Successful Team Leaders typically:

Lead by example

Show up early and prepared

Stay calm under pressure

Accept responsibility willingly

Communicate clearly

Hold standards consistently

Earn trust through performance

Take pride in disciplined execution

Military NCOs, SNCOs, officers, first responders, athletes, and high-accountability civilian leaders often excel here.

But mindset matters more than resume. The common denominator is ownership.

If you need constant supervision, constant motivation, or constant exceptions, this is probably not the role for you.

Taking Care of Leaders the Right Way

Taking care of leaders does not mean lowering standards. It means providing the tools necessary for success. That includes:

Professional training

Clear expectations

Proper equipment

Consistent procedures

Reliable support

Industry-leading pay tied to performance and responsibility

We invest heavily in leaders who meet the standard.

What We Offer

Industry-leading pay

Weekly pay

Meaningful responsibility

Leadership opportunities

Clear advancement pathways

Consistent standards

Professional teammates

A culture built on trust, accountability, and professionalism

Good leaders tend to appreciate environments where expectations are clear. So do we.

What We Do Not Offer

Let's be equally clear. We do not offer:

An excuse culture

An entitlement culture

Automatic promotions

Leadership without accountability

Lowered standards for convenience

We protect strong performers by maintaining the standard.

Why Team Leaders Choose Two Marines Moving

Team Leaders stay because:

Leadership is respected

Standards are enforced

Good work is recognized

Accountability is shared

Professionalism matters

Execution wins

You'll know fairly quickly whether this environment fits you. For the right person, it feels natural.

The Bottom Line

If you want:

Meaningful responsibility

Industry-leading pay

Professional teammates

Leadership opportunities

High standards

Real accountability

Then Two Marines Moving may be the right next step.

If you're looking for authority without responsibility, this role is not for you.

And that clarity protects everyone.

Leadership is not a title. Leadership is responsibility accepted and executed.
