Two Marines Moving is a veteran-owned professional moving company founded in Alexandria, Virginia in 2008 by Marine Corps veteran Nicholas Edmond Baucom.
The company was built on a simple idea: moving should be professional, disciplined, transparent, and properly executed.

My name is Nicholas Edmond Baucom, and I founded Two Marines Moving on November 10, 2008 — the birthday of the United States Marine Corps.
Before starting this company, I served in the Marine Corps as an Infantry Rifleman and attained the rank of Sergeant. The Marine Corps taught me many things, but perhaps the most important lesson was this: standards matter. The way you answer the phone matters. The way you treat clients matters. The way you show up matters. The way you care for someone else's belongings matters. And the way you leave a job matters.
When I founded Two Marines Moving, my goal was never simply to start another moving company. My goal was to create the kind of company I would personally hire to move my own family — a company built on discipline, accountability, and professionalism.
Over the years, our team has completed tens of thousands of moves throughout Virginia, Maryland, and Washington, D.C. We have assisted families, military members, businesses, seniors, and first-time homeowners through some of life's most significant transitions.
