One of the most common questions we hear — and completely fair. At Two Marines Moving, we believe clarity builds trust. Rather than burying the answer in fine print or explaining it after the fact, we'd rather explain it up front.
A Truck Is Only Part of the Mission
When we deploy a crew, we're not simply sending a truck down the road. We're deploying a fully equipped moving system designed to protect your belongings and execute the move efficiently, safely, and professionally.
The Truck & Equipment Fee covers the cost of deploying a fully equipped Two Marines Moving truck and the professional-grade equipment required to complete your moving mission.
This is not a convenience fee. It is the cost of deploying a fully equipped moving system designed to protect your belongings and execute the move professionally.
What's Included
The Truck & Equipment Fee includes the equipment and resources our crews need to perform the move properly:
A properly maintained moving truck assigned exclusively to your move
Professional furniture pads and moving blankets
Tape and standard consumable materials used during the move
Dollies, hand trucks, and moving carts
Straps and load-securement equipment
Basic tools for furniture disassembly and reassembly
GPS-equipped vehicles
Required safety equipment
In plain English: we do not charge separately for tape, blankets, furniture pads, or standard equipment used in the normal course of safely moving your belongings. If it is required to execute the move correctly, it is included.
What's Not Included
Certain specialty packing and protection materials are billed separately when used. These may include:
Shrink wrap
Bubble wrap
Moving boxes
Specialty packing supplies
Other client-requested packing materials
Why? Because not every move requires them. Charging separately for specialty materials ensures clients only pay for what is actually used.
